Hidden Meadows lies outside every city, so its ADUs are permitted by the County of San Diego's Planning and Development Services, which runs the plan check and the inspections.

The build

The two wings wrap a concrete patio, with the front door and a sliding door both opening onto it, and block retaining walls step the new planting down the slope.
